HCHS Band Class Placement Auditions:

We have four concert ensembles at HCHS. If you would like to audition for one of our two concert band classes, only play Etude No.1. If you would like to audition for our more advanced ensembles, the Symphonic Band or Wind Symphony, play both etudes (1 and 2). Everyone will need to play the chromatic scale (play as much of it as you can-you can use music for this! The more you play, the more points you earn!). Auditions will be held on April 25, 2023, at HCHS. Auditions will begin at 3:00pm and continue until 6:30pm. All students will need to check in by 6:00 to audition. There are no make-up auditions. If you miss or choose not to audition, you will be placed in Concert Band II.
